This research was undertaken to understand the changing landscape of Malaysian consumer behaviour amidst the global public health crisis due to the pandemic. It is imperative to investigate how the pandemic had changed consumption patterns and left footprints on the shifting sands of consumer spending. What lessons should we learn to ensure our consumers remain resilient, thus protecting them from sinking into the next financial quicksand lurking in the future? This report reveals the findings of the survey conducted among more than 2,000 consumers in Malaysia.
